Company: The White Teak Company (by Asian Paints) Web: www.whiteteak.com Position: Warehouse Manager Location: Bangalore (Hoskote) Experience: 8-12 years Department: Supply Chain Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient handling of inventory, dispatches, and team performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including staff supervision, inventory control, compliance with safety standards, and optimization of storage systems. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods. Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and adherence to safety standards. Implement and enforce health and safety procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage inventory levels, perform regular stock audits, and resolve discrepancies using ZOHO and other warehouse management systems. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate shipment and receipt of goods. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize operational efficiency. Maintain and monitor equipment performance; coordinate maintenance, repairs, or replacements as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and vendors. Generate and analyse performance reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Plan staff schedules to meet varying workloads while controlling labour costs and minimizing overtime. Uphold company policies and promote a positive, collaborative team environment. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness. Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., ZOHO) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety standards. Ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and implement process improvements. Hands-on experience in team management and training.
