SCOPE The Developer is responsible for multiple web and back office applications written on .NET development platforms. Analyzes, designs, codes, debugs, assists in testing and documents software. Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle and is responsible for new and existing applications. Demonstrates advanced skills and proficient at working with complex features / tools / techniques adhering to Mouser standards. Understands the requirements and be able to translate them into business / technical solutions. Responds quickly to issues brought by internal and external customers. ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Evaluates new or modified software programs based on user requests and produces a draft of technical specifications including a high level estimate of time to complete Designs, develops, tests and implements complex applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, .Net Framework, Web Forms, SQL Server 2012/2016, Visual Studio 2015/2017, TFS, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, AJAX and other related web technologies Requires thorough understanding of web-based Microsoft technologies Requires advanced knowledge of database design, writing SQL, T-SQL scripts and stored procedures in SQL Server Designs and Develops applications for use in a multiplatform environment supporting our globalization with great scalability and efficiency Designs, and develops scalable, efficient, secure software providing technical solutions to business and system problems and needs Translates architecture roadmaps into reality based on latest technologies, techniques to improve system and software performance, while tracking market trends Provides technical recommendations to improve the product. Supports QA analysis and testing of feature and integration testing Ensures the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Requires excellent communication skills and be a team player and works closely with business analysts, designers, architects, other developers and quality analysts Requires good understanding of Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies Experience with creating and maintaining software for use in global environments in support of multiple locations around the globe, including currencies, languages, and time zones Awareness of need to understand and follow compliance of international regulations regarding but not limited to: GDPR, PII, and ADA SKILLS Thorough knowledge of: .Net Framework 4.5+ ASP.NET MVC Web API/WCF/REST Web Services SQL Server 2012/2016 Visual Studio 2015/2017 Team Foundation Server (TFS) Preferred Experience with: Source Code Control (SCC) apps Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills Self-starter and able to find issues, offer solution options, and implement agreed upon resolution with limited direction and oversight.
