Job Title: Wikipedia Page Developer / Content Specialist Location: Bangalore Position Type: Contract Work Type : Remote Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Wikipedia Page Developer/Content Specialist to craft and publish comprehensive, neutral, and well-sourced Wikipedia articles about TekWissen and its leadership team. This role requires expertise in writing and researching content that adheres to Wikipedia's content standards and guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a Wikipedia page for TekWissen that accurately reflects the companys history, achievements, products, and services. Create and manage Wikipedia pages for members of the leadership team, ensuring a neutral tone and compliance with Wikipedias notability and sourcing standards. Conduct thorough research to gather verifiable information from credible sources, ensuring that all claims made on Wikipedia are backed by reliable references. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, HR, and legal) to gather accurate and up-to-date information for the pages. Monitor and update pages as necessary to reflect TekWissens latest achievements, news, and leadership changes. Address and resolve any Wikipedia article disputes, including responding to community feedback and edit suggestions. Ensure compliance with Wikipedias guidelines and policies on neutrality, verifiability, and notability. Qualifications: Proven experience creating and managing Wikipedia pages for companies or high-profile individuals. Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to write in a neutral and objective tone. Familiarity with Wikipedias guidelines, policies, and content creation processes. Ability to source credible, third-party references to substantiate claims made on Wikipedia pages. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Wikipedia's markup language (preferred but not required). Previous experience in public relations, communications, or digital content management is a plus. Additional Requirements: Ability to handle sensitive company information with confidentiality. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting deadlines. A portfolio of previous Wikipedia pages or writing samples is preferred.
