Role & responsibilities NCE SP Routing L2/L3 4YR +- Bangalore Onsite Shift (9 AM – 5 PM) Job Overview The Customer Delivery Consulting Engineer position is responsible for the support and delivery of Customer Experience (CX) routing/switching and next generation software-defined networking technologies to Cisco's customers while being at customer site. This is a role of resident engineer where in you will be expected to be at Customer location and work there 8x5. You will be responsible for the delivery of Plan, Design, Implementation, Migration & Optimization. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for driving CX projects and customer-based project initiatives. Align and drive focused work with customer's business strategy and objectives. Demonstrate and generate applicable technical, standard methodologies. Support testing and validation of solutions and software strategies along with configuring devices and troubleshooting errors. Perform architectural planning and design, as well as configuration and integration support within project delivery and ongoing consultative engagements. Identify & document design/architecture best practices for Cisco Services adoption. Assist in the development of business and technical requirement + high-level and low-level design activities + network implementation planning. Technical Expertise 7975261424Experience with MPLS based VPNs (L3VPN, L2VPN, EVPN)Deep understanding of OSI, TCP/IP networking and routing. Expert level knowledge on SP Routing Protocols, ISIS/OSPF, BGP, LDP, RSVP TE, QoS and IPv6.Expert level knowledge & Troubleshooting on Cisco IOS, IOS-XR platforms devices- ASR9K, NCS.
