The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and related web technologies. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins. Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability. Database Management: Work with MySQL databases to manage and retrieve data efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. PHP Programming: Write and debug PHP code to enhance website functionality. Develop custom features and resolve backend issues. Website Maintenance: Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to ensure security and functionality. Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements. Collaboration: Work closely with the design and content teams to ensure seamless integration. Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and business goals. Troubleshooting and Support: Monitor website performance and address any technical issues. Provide support for website-related queries and challenges. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Skills: Proficiency in WordPress (themes, plugins, and customizations). Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, and cPanel. Basic understanding of website optimization and security practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with popular page builders Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations. Basic understanding of SEO principles.
