Job Profile: WordPress Developer Location: Ludhiana Experience Required: 2-5Years Responsibilities: Design and implement functional and aesthetic websites using WordPress according to client specifications and user needs. Regularly update and maintain existing websites, adding new features and enhancing functionality as required. Install, customize, and manage WordPress plugins to extend website functionality. Customize and develop WordPress themes to achieve desired layouts and performance. Optimize website speed and efficiency by addressing both front-end and back-end components. Implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility and ranking of websites in search engines. Enforce security measures to protect websites from potential threats and unauthorized access. Ensure that websites are responsive and perform well across all devices and platforms. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress, including conflicts arising from plugins or themes. Oversee the structured management of content within WordPress using customized post types and taxonomies. Work directly with clients to define project requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback for revisions. Collaborate with team members such as graphic designers and content writers, potentially leading projects or mentoring junior developers. Must-Have Skills: Advanced WordPress Knowledge: Expertise in using WordPress, including advanced theme and plugin manipulation. Front-End Technologies: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create responsive and interactive designs. PHP Programming: Strong command of PHP to handle WordPress's backend programming needs. Good-to-Have Skills: E-commerce Platforms: Experience with WooCommerce for building and managing online stores.
