Work from home, UK client, Full Time, Support Engineer position This role is for a substantial, fast-growing, and well-respected UK Advertising Firm who have hired us to exclusively recruit for them. They are looking to make a full-time hire for a long-term position. Location: Remote Work from Home in India Minimum Experience: 5+ years Shift Timings: 12 pm - 9:30 pm (Summer), 1 pm - 10:30 pm (Winter) Roles and responsibilities Problem analysis and resolution skills. At Smartology, the role of the support engineer is to assist our internal and external customers with technical issues related to software and cloud by troubleshooting problems, providing solutions, and ensuring smooth operation of systems, essentially acting as a bridge between the customer and the technical team to resolve any difficulties they might encounter while using our SaaS advertising product. Communication - keeping issues in our ticketing system updated so a remote team can see progress over time, managing priorities and reaching out for guidance when conflicts occur, liaising with engineers who have domain expertise to determine whether to escalate to them or get support in addressing an issue. Quality through accuracy, testing and peer review.
