Job Description:You'll join Xplor Personal Services and our Global Technology team the team that provides the support and expertise to specialty care businesses like dry-cleaners and laundry services. We build the platforms they need to support their customers and keep life moving.You’ll help us enhance our industry-leading platform used by our customer base to run their businesses. Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have:Contribute to the development and execution of a technology roadmap to support our departmental strategy and business objectives.Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership in defining technical strategy and in designing solutions to address current and future business requirements and infrastructure needs.Consult with development and project teams to provide technical solutions for complex issues.Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers on the team. Ensure technical design aligns with the vision and future state of existing systems. Contribute to the vision and direction for the future of our products and services.Review existing architectural roadmaps and propose solutions for existing technical debt and development bottlenecks.Take a proactive approach to drive innovation and creative solutions through cutting-edge technologies and implementation of best practice tools, processes and initiatives.Qualifications:Experience8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications.7+ years of hands-on experience with React Native for mobile app development.Proven track record of leading development teams and managing projects from conception to deployment.Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks, especially React Native.Deep understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus.Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, and IntelliJ.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.Experience with React Native CLI for effective project management.Leadership and Management:Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Reporting to Software Engineering Manager, you’ll help us empower and enable engineering teams, develop innovative products, work with challenging and complex code, and develop market-leading cloud-based solutions in the Fitness and Wellbeing sector. Using ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript, SQL, the MVC framework, and a variety of technologies, you will be a part of a market-leading software platform that makes day-to-day operations simple, efficient, and enjoyable for organizations in the fitness and wellbeing industry.Some other responsibilities you'll have: Involve and engage with developers and tech leads from multiple teams and motivate them to improve continuously. Mentor junior team members and guide them towards raising their own software quality standards. Build an innovative product with Microsoft technologies, from back-end to front-end. Participate in daily scrum activities and collaborate on delivering projects in an agile environment. Write clean, testable, scalable, and well-documented code. Diagnose problems and defects by collecting information, finding root causes, and fixing them. Help improve and evolve our advanced architecture following best-in-industry patterns. Have a keen eye for improvement in scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Refactor existing code, write unit tests and review other teammates code.
