Preferred candidate profile: Knowledge & experience in 2D/3D design tools like AutoCAD and plant 3D / E3D Familiarity with various piping components such as pipes, flanges, valves, fittings, gaskets, and supports. Experience in designing optimal piping layouts with considerations for safety, space optimization, maintenance access, and cost-effectiveness. Expertise in using tools like Navisworks for detecting and resolving clashes between piping and other systems (e.g., electrical, HVAC).Understanding of the inputs like P&ID, PFD, Equipment Drawing, PMS, Hookup Drawing, Vendor Drawing, and ability to route the Piping according to inputs. Basic Knowledge of Piping Stress & supports. Ability to create and interpret piping isometrics, which are critical for installation and fabrication. Comprehensive understanding of industry code & standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI, DIN, IS) to ensure compliance in design and material selection. Role & responsibilities: Preparation & review of PMS, Valve data sheet, special item data sheet, etc. Preparation of equipment layout of various process plant, utilities & tank farms with respect to process & statutory guidelines. Preparation of overall plot plan with respect to input & statuary guidelines. Review of process document for input & further engineering point of view. Review & comments of equipment drawing vendor package drawing. Review & comments of civil & structural drawing with respect to requirement. Review & comments of electrical & instrumentation cable routing drawing with respect to clash & piping routing & civil structural point of view. Co-ordinate with client for project progress, clarification & input requirement Inter department co-ordination for input & timely delivery of deliverables. Formatting & consolidating bulk item & MTO in excel sheet. Review of nozzle orientation & review mechanical drawing with respect to nozzle orientation. Conducting model review with internal department & client. Ensure Inter departmental checks of Piping deliverable. Ensure delivery of quality documents by proper review & checking of documents.
