Job Description

The Zonal Operations Manager is responsible for directing, overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the branches end to end. We are looking for a dynamic, getting it done and results-oriented individual with 12 -15 years of experience who can help us take responsibility in building Jio Credit as one of the best NBFC in India. Understanding of Mortgage products including Home Loan & Mortgages.Process optimization and improvements.Regulatory compliance and opsCommunication SkillsComfortable with start-up ops scaling to handle millions of customersLeadership ,Team Player , Entrepreneurial Attitude ,Communication Skills, Scale-up, operations Job description Role & responsibilities : 1. Branch Operations Management Oversee daily operations across all branches in the assigned zone. Ensure adherence to internal policies applicable. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve branch efficiency. Focus on improving File quality and reducing the operations TAT. 2. Team Leadership & Management Recruit, train, and mentor branch leads and their teams. Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to ensure high team performance. Conduct periodic reviews to assess staff productivity and development. Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the overall business objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the operations team. 3. Performance Monitoring & Improvement Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for branch operations. Monitor branch performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective measures. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. 4. Customer Experience & Satisfaction Ensure high service standards and customer engagement across branches. Address escalated customer concerns and maintain strong client relationships. Implement customer-centric policies to enhance loyalty and satisfaction. 5. Compliance Management Identify and mitigate process fallout's related to day to day operations. Ensure the branch's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure compliance with SOPs defined. Strengthening internal controls to minimize fraud and financial discrepancies. Ensure adherence to NBFC regulatory requirements applicable to branches. 6. Financial Oversight & Resource Allocation Develop, manage, and optimize zonal budgets to align with business goals. Streamline and optimize end-to-end loan processing workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity. Implement best practices to enhance the speed and accuracy of loan approvals and disbursements. Ensure prudent allocation of resources, balance cost and revenue targets. 7. Technical Expertise: Work closely with the technology/ Business Solutions Group to maintain and improve the existing IT tools Identify opportunities for technological enhancements to improve operational efficiency in operations and customer experience. Hands on experience in process automation for increasing speed and accuracy through innovations. 8. Reporting & Communication Prepare comprehensive reports on branch performance and key operational metrics. Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Serve as a bridge between branches and central teams for seamless coordination. Role & responsibilities
